World's Smallest Camera Now Available

OmniVision Technologies has brought up a unique camera chip which is so small in size that it can be swallowed being only 1/18 inches wide. This is indeed the smallest camera available till date and is 1/12 inch whereas this OV6920 camera chip measures only 2.1mm by 2.3mm.

Because of it's small size, this camera can be swallowed and can be greatly used in the medical field. You can swallow this camera through a pill and it can then reach into your digestive system, thus allowing medical observations that would otherwise be more invasive.

This camera offers a color video and merely requires a single 3.3 Volt DC supply to operate.
